Hoptaneous Combustion by Terrapin Beer

At 9.3% abv, this one is a gem. Smoked with a west coast hop flavor, this imperial IPA has it all.

From Terrapin:

‘Brewed to let the hop bitterness blaze through your tongue and the smoked malt smolder on your palate,

this final curtain call from our Georgia Theatre Sessions series of beers will have you screaming for an encore.’

Terrapin is quickly becoming a favorite brewery of mine. Haven’t been there yet, but here in the south, many hail this brewery to be one of the best.

Terrapin came out with four beers for there Georgia Theatre Series (a side project to help raise funds to rebuild the Georgia Theatre after a devastating fire)

which were only supposed to be available in Georgia, but thanks to the lovely people at the local Whole Foods, I was able to pick

one of these up for a little more than 10 bucks – worth every penny.

Only in a 22oz bomber, this beer is no longer available as it was the last in the series released last year.

After a month of not drinking beer, this was an amazing welcome back to the bitter side of life.
