Retro Red(Red Banshee) by Fort Collins Brewery

Retro Red, which has since been renamed Red Banshee, is a perfect example of the red style of beer. The maltiness is balanced nicely by an upfront hop spiciness. Fortunately for hop lovers this beer finished spicy, too.

By Fort Collins Brewery out of Boulder, Colorado, Retro Red pours a nice deep rusty-caramel color and has a strong hop aroma. The scent also hints at eucalyptus and pine.

This red ale has a beautiful pale yellow head which reminded me of the notepad I was writing on during tasting nice, and complimented the rich color of the beer.

Like I mentioned before, Retro Red has been renamed to Red Banshee and as such you probably will not be able to find the Retro Red on store shelves after a while. have no fear however because Fort Collins Brewery promises the taste will remain the same!
